Morning Tunage

With their lives on display this month at gay & lesbian film festivals worldwide through the premiere of “We’re All Angels,” I thought it would be appropriate to feature Jason & DeMarco for this morning’s tunes.  Enjoy:

  1. And actually, I’m a wee bit jealous. I grew up in a household where my mother, my brother, and I, as well as my mother’s parents when they were around, would sing all of the time. We could be outside cooking on the grill and still be all singing, harmonizing, and having a blast doing it.

These two appear to be truly and completely in love, and I think they make a great example. I just wish I could get Norm to sing harmony. He doesn’t like people to know it but he actually can sing. Usually he’ll chime in when we’re making a mess in the kitchen and I start singing (as usual), he’ll start singing along with me if he knows the words.

But he can’t hold a harmony worth a hill of beans. dammit.

  2. See, that’s nice. My family also sings or at least we used to when I was growing up. There’s something very comforting about it.

I’m just not a fan of homo-pop, but to each their own.

  3. Yeah, we were watching The Producers one day and Norm says to me, “who does that? Who walks around singing their way through the day?” I just looked at him and smiled and he said, “Nevermind.”

    🙂
