National Coming Out Day

Tomorrow.  October 11th, 2007.

DO IT.  COME OUT.  THE WEIGHT YOU HAVE ON YOUR SHOULDERS RIGHT NOW WILL BE GONE.

Sure, other problems will arise . . . but having to lie every day and keep all the little lies up to support the big lie . . .that will be over.  And that’s a big deal.

(Oh yeah, shameless attempt at free airline tickets: There’s still time to vote for me, too!)

  1. Man, the gays are demanding. Can I count my recent “coming out” to the last three of my 12 siblings and not come out to the rest of my staff. It’s a little emotionally draining. That being said, my relationship with my boss has changed radically for the better since I came out to her recently.

  2. Patrick –

Gee, you make it seem like coming out is a congressional budget negotiation.

    (Gives it more thought)

    Nevermind, perhaps I digress. 🙂

Well, I don’t know about “the gays,” but you should know by now that I’m demanding. lol

Good to hear about the relationship with the boss. (Although now she probably will ask you what you think of her shoes all of the time.)

Last week she was having dinner with the city manager and our director right after work and she came into my office and asked if she should wear her hair up or down. I said, “I have no idea. Why don’t you ask one of the secretaries?” She replied, “You’re my gay friend now. You’re supposed to be able to help me with this!”
