Yes. Oh Yes.

I can’t wait for the final novel.  But the trailer for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix looks exceptional and seems to do justice to the book.

A new book and a new movie.

It’s going to be a magical summer.

(And I still think Snape is really one of the good guys, no matter what happened in The Half-Blood Prince.)

  1. Yes, the woman who is richer than the Queen of England spends her free time reading gay blogs.

I get to have the “Trust Snape”/”Don’t Trust Snape” debate with my students. Most of them cannot believe that he redeems himself by the end, given the events of book 6. I tell them that it’s a credit to my, I mean JK’s writing skills, that we care.

  2. Hey, you never know……after all, she has to have something to write about after Harry kicks the bucket or settles into life with some witch in some remote somewhere. Or he becomes Darth Vader. Damn clairvoyance is coming in static-y tonight.

Maybe she’s getting ideas for her next series.

Book One: “Jamie Author and the Talk Show Host’s Pebble”, in which an intrepid young homosexual lad finds out that he has a mystical way with vocabulary and an evil enemy, Lady Coultermort, as he sets out for the amazing Aatom’s School of Fabulousness and Wordsmithery.

    Trust me, it will sell.

I’ll have you know that I’m going to smile all day thinking of that.
