I Don’t Know What’s More Surprising . . .

That a teenage girl on a phone ever noticed she was being pulled over, or that she got a Buick Century up to over 100mph:

A teenager driving at triple-digit speeds told police she didn’t notice they were trying to pull her over because she was too busy talking on her cell phone.

Police say 18-year-old Jessica Touchette, of Northfield, was driving her Buick Century at speeds of up to 104 mph on I-89 in Hartford early Tuesday morning. However, police had to chase her for more than three miles before she pulled over.

What’s A “Western-style” Haircut?

From today’s WaPo:

“Police will seize women with tight coats and cropped trousers and also men with Western-style hair cut will be arrested,” the newspaper said.

Evidently Iran’s begun it’s annual “crackdown” on unislamic dress, including “western-style” haircuts.  Someone ought to tell ol’ Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to watch his back, then.
