Right. Like Details Isn’t a Gay Mag.

I honestly don’t know if I should be insulted or not. Frankly there are times when I’ve been sick of discussing the whole “gay” subject myself. But I don’t think this is the right way to phrase it:
Homosexuality, of course, used to be known as the love that dare not speak its name—until, thanks to the gayification of pop culture, it became the love that wouldn’t shut the hell up.

Okay, I hate to say it but there is some truth to this. I have strait friends who don’t want to be around gay people simply because many openly gay people insist on talking about gay sex to every person who is friendly to them. Of course, most of the respectable acting gay people are probably not out of the closet, due to horrible mainstream persecution and discrimination making it difficult for a productive gay person to be out of the closet. But it is a shame that there are such a large amount of out of the closet gay people who insist on talking about gay sex so openly and indiscriminately. These over zealous gay people don’t realize that they are giving the entire gay community the false appearance, of out of control promiscuity, which is undoubtedly making it harder for many respectable and successful gay people to finally come out of the closet, which is what needs to happen before many of the bigots in this country will start treating gay people as equals. Bigots don’t understand that most gay people act more respectable than they do. Bigots don’t have a clue that the intelligent guy at work who is quiet and hard working and keeps putting in the extra hours in order to keep getting promoted time and time again, is actually a gay person who has enough common sense to act more respectable than most strait people do.
